2002 Regular Season:  Came to the Riders in a very weird way.  He had his contract voided by the CFL after they learned he signed a contract with an Arena league team while still under contract with the Edmonton Eskimos.   After his contract was voided he decided not to sign with the Arena league and signed with the Riders instead.  Eskimos got upset because they lost a receiver unnecessarily because the CFL stepped in.  The Esks didn't decide Jackson was worth the effort in fighting with the CFL and let the Riders keep him.  Had a good season in 2001 and Riders hope that carries into 2002 with them.
