Pos: DB Hometown: North Royalton, Ohio 2001 Preseason: One of Roy Shivers real scouting gems from last season. Plays well, wherever you put him. Riders will likely leave White at linebacker, to take advantage of his active nature. 2000 Regular Season: Led the league in tackles and was a candidate for CFL Rookie-of-the-Year as a linebacker. Is truly a tackling machine and brings athleticism and enthusiasm to the game. 2000 Preseason: Riders like his size and tackling ability. Moved him around in training camp between defensive half and linebacker, but finally left him at defensive half. Loves to come up and play the run. White, along with Omarr Morgan, have been real finds for GM Roy Shivers. Scouting Report:
Up and Over: Boston College DB George White flips Virginia Tech QB Michael Vick. Tough guy: Boston College DB George White poses for team pictures. Tackling machine: White (left) does what he does best, tackle.
Follow the Bouncing Pinball: George White (#38) tries to track down Toronto Argonaut Michael "Pinball" Clemons.
