Pos: WR Hometown: Miami, Florida 2002 Preseason: Did his best Dwight Edwards imitation last season by dropping most of the passes thrown to him last season. Is the fastest player on the field, but easily loses concentration and fails to make routine catches. Will be under some pressure to keep a spot on the roster. 2001 Preseason: Looks good to retain a starting spot at one wideout spot and as a kick returner. 2000 Regular Season: Got his chance to play when the Riders released WR Daryl Hobbs. Displayed excellent speed as he scored long TDs off of hitch screens and kickoff returns by pulling away from defenders. Sometimes dropped some easy balls and needs work on running pass routes. 2000 Preseason: Showed some good promise in training camp, but Riders have so many good receivers, Bendross has been unable to crack the active roster. Will have to bide his time on the practice roster for much of this season while waiting to fill in as an injury substitute. Scouting Report: Had sort of an up-and-down college career at Florida A&M. Spent much of it as a backup on a team that employed a four-receiver formation. But was a starter, at times, as a senior. Off to the races: Bendross scampers down the sidelines on the way to the endzone. Running to daylight: Bendross turns it upfield against Southern University defenders. Celebrating: Bendross does his dance after scoring a kickoff return TD. Celebrating 2: Bendross gets congratulations after scoring a TD. [an error occurred while processing this directive] |
