2002 Preseason:  Riders looking for big things from Szarka this season.  Still a surprise to see the big man rip off big runs.

2001 Preseason:  Signed a new contract with Riders and is a lock to be the starting fullback when Riders open the season.  Still underused as a runner and pass receiver, despite the fact he rips off huge gains every time he touches the football.

2000 Regular Season:  Had a solid season, his first as a starter.  Had some injuries in the middle of season, but came back and played well.  Always a good blocker, Szarka showed some good running ablilty when given the ball.

2000 Preseason:  After two years of backing up Shawn Daniels, Szarka finally gets his chance to play on a regular basis.  Always a threat on screen passes, is also a tough inside runner who shows surprising speed when he gets into open field.  Good receiver and a tenacious blocker.

College:  Riders 1997 second round draft choice from Eastern Illinois.
