2002 Preseason: Showed flashes of brilliance last season on some of the sacks he recorded, but not enough to allow the Roughriders to juggle their import ratio to allow another Canadian starting position on the defensive line. Will be effective seeing spot duty again.

2001 Preseason: Kind of disappointing rookie season for St. James. Spent almost all of his time playing special teams. Will likely suffer same fate this season, unless something drastic happens.

2000 Regular Season: Had a steady, but unspectacular training camp. Riders are looking at him as someone they will bring along slowly while he bides his time on special teams duty.

Scouting Report:

	Was a defensive end at UBC, but Riders want to look at him at linebacker.
	Very strong - did 25 reps of 225 lbs.
	Only average speed for a linebacker - 4.9 in the 40 yd dash.
	Was an all-star in senior year and led the Thunderbirds in sacks.
