2002 Preseason: A quiet, but solid rookie season in 2001. Will be interesting to see how Neptune plays this season, with a year under his belt. Will he have learned enough to jump up into a starting postion? The tools are there, but Neptune just needed to get used to the speed of play in the pros.

Scouting Report: Might be the steal of the 2001 Canadian College Draft. Riders even considered making Neptune the top pick, and were pleasantly surprised that he was still around in the third round. Isn't very big and isn't very fast, but is quick and active. Was the leader on the Ottawa Gee Gee defence after spending two seasons at the University of Kentucky.
