2002 Preseason:  With one of the few offseasons McCallum has not played in another league (World League, XFL) before coming back to his real job with the Riders, McCallum should be well rested for this year.  His punting appears to be improving.  There has never been any problems with his placekicking.

2001 Preseason:  Eyeing the vacant kicking position with the B.C. Lions, as it affords McCallum a chance to play at home.  Riders would love to have him back as he is still one of the most reliable kickers in the league.

2000 Regular Season:  Placekicking has never been a problem for McCallum and he can always be counted upon to make the clutch kick as was shown in the late season OT win against the Edmonton Eskimos where McCallum made a long FG to tie the game and send it to OT and then another to win it.  Punting was still a sore spot for McCallum.

2000 Preseason:  After bringing in some punters to challenge, coaches decided to give McCallum another shot at doing double duty as being the team's kicker and punter.   Is one of the best placekickers in the league by virtue of his 87% success rate on field goals last season.  His punting average needs some work, however, as he was saddled with a sub-40 yard average last season.
