Notes: Three-year letterman and two-year starter who came to Southeast Missouri State from Kemper Military College (Mo.). Had 13 stops and one interception in '97; 37 tackles, 15 passes broken up and two picks in '98; and 51 tackles, nine passes broken up, five interceptions (which he returned for 118 yards) and 17 kickoff returns for 450 yards in '99. Has been clocked faster than 4.4 seconds in the 40 on a fast, indoor, rubber surface.

Positives: Has the quickness and speed needed to run with most receivers. Also has quick feet. Is getting better with experience.

Negatives: Lacks size and strength and has a small and slight build. Plays small and gets outmuscled and outsized for the ball. Is not going to be a factor against the run. Is too small to return kickoffs on the next level. Is not a top ball athlete.
